My Reggae Rockin’ Journey Vol 2 is the highly anticipated second installment in the acclaimed reggae-rock fusion series from GrooveGalore MuziK and Valentino Music. Expanding to a powerful 19-track collection, the album reimagines legendary Classic Rock and melodic crossover favorites through the heartbeat of reggae... blending timeless songwriting with rich island grooves, soulful vocals, and world-class musicianship.
Produced by GrooveGalore MuziK with it's signature sound, the project features internationally respected drummer, vocalist, composer, and producer Paul "GrooveGalore" KASTICK alongside acclaimed guitarist Rudy Valentino Jr. (Valentino Music), joined by an impressive lineup of special guests and collaborators from across the reggae, rock, and contemporary music worlds, including; Audley "Chizzy" Chisholm, Alex Blanken, Nicholas Beckford, Michael “Megah Bass” Fletcher, and Paul Paublo Stennett. Mixed and Mastered by: Josh Gold at The Basement Studios, Boston, MA.
Leading the album is the standout single “Is This Love” (ft. KASTICK & Cen’C Love) — a reggae-infused interpretation of the iconic 1989 hit originally made famous by Whitesnake. Additional highlights include fresh takes on songs associated with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Foreigner, Lionel Richie, Neil Diamond, and Michael Kiwanika, transformed through GrooveGalore MuziK’s signature blend of reggae rhythms, rock energy, and melodic soul.
GrooveGalore MuziK and Valentino Music have become known for crafting a distinctive sound where Rock and Reggae collide. Their creative partnership traces back to the early development of international recording artist Tessanne Chin, whose breakthrough success culminated in winning Season 5 of The Voice in 2013.
Founded by Paul KASTICK, GrooveGalore MuziK has contributed to numerous chart-topping recordings and international touring productions. As a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and drummer, KASTICK works with legendary artists and bands including Big Mountain, Maxi Priest, Shaggy, Diana King, and Ky-Mani Marley. His touring and recording credits also include collaborations with Enigma and other influential artists spanning reggae, rock, and world music.
The Journey series began with the release of the Steely Dan classic “Night By Night” in August 2023, off of My Reggae Rocking Journey Vol 1, followed by “Night By Night Again – The Josh Gold Remix” and a reggae-inspired interpretation of Giant’s “I’ll See You In My Dreams” in March 2024. Each release has continued building momentum for the series’ unique crossover sound and growing international audience.
