Ann Klein's latest CD Tumbleweed Symphony is out now and can be purchased at BandCamp
She is quoted in "Women’s Road to Rock Guitar”: an instruction book by Nikki O'Neill. It prepares guitarists for playing rhythm and lead guitar in rock bands, writing songs on guitar, using gear and dialing in their sound. Throughout the book, the following guitarists share their advice on various aspects of guitar playing: Jennifer Batten, Sue Foley, Lita Ford, Kaki King, Ann Klein, Bibi McGill, Orianthi, Vicki Peterson, Ana Popovic, and Nancy Wilson. The book was released in Spring 2014 by Alfred Music and is available in all major stores.

Ann Klein's guitar playing is among the top performers in the US, she also fiddles around with a few other stringed things like mandolin, dobro and lap steel. As a composer/songwriter, she has: toured in Europe consistently for 10 years, played house concerts in the US, was a featured artist in St. Barth’s, received lots of nice press from well known publications such as Billboard and HARP and from local papers both in the States and Europe; written music for: three documentaries for French television; THE ENERGY FACTORY (an organization committed to tackling the growing problem of child obesity in the United States; and Metro Music, Inc., a library which has placed her music in television shows worldwide. Ann was a featured soloist with Ani DiFranco on several shows; she has had the honor of playing, writing and recording with Kate Pierson of the B-52s, Joan Osborne, Dana Fuchs, Darden Smith, PM Dawn, Randall Woolf & Maurice Sendak (for a ballet of "Where the Wild Things Are"), Keri Noble, Sara Lee, Natalie Imbruglia, Mary Lee's Corvette, Jon King (of the Gang of Four), the American Composers Orchestra (concert at Carnegie Hall), Todd Almond, among others. She even went to Saudi Arabia with Mary McBride as a cultural envoy! She has performed on Broadway in Grease, 9 to 5, Everyday Rapture, Baby It’s You AND Kinky Boots. Ann has also produced a few artists with her partner, Tim Hatfield, of Cowboy Technical Services. Artists include: Sara Wendt for City Canyons Records and Tina Cernero (gospel). Ann was the recipient of a grant to attend the MacDowell Colony in the summer of 2000. In fall of 2005, she was invited as a guest teacher at the Danish Rhythmic Music Conservancy along with 15 other teachers from NY and LA. Ann is also band member of the Harlem Parlour Music Club.
