Tonight’s 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards is sure to be a musical extravaganza for viewers and musicians alike. Elton John, will take the stage with Miley Cyrus two days ahead of his “Elton John: I’m Still Standing – A GRAMMY Salute” tribute concert at Madison Square Garden. During the show, John and his longtime writing partner, Bernie Taupin, are receiving the Recording Academy President’s Merit Award. Some of this year’s top artists will also be performing their hits, including Pink, who has one nomination this year, six-time GRAMMY winner Lady Gaga, and four-time GRAMMY winner Sam Smith. Many of this year’s nominees will also take the stage, including SZA, who has earned five nominations and who is taking the GRAMMYs stage for the first time. Seven time Grammy Award winner, Kendrick Lamar is set to woo the audience while he waits to see if he’ll win in any of the seven categories he’s nominated in. Several first-time performers, including Kesha and Childish Gambino will take the stage. Seasoned artists like Sting, U2, and country group Little Big Town are also in the line up of performance. The night will be marked by a special tribute performance by Eric Church, Maren Morris and Brothers Osborne, honoring the victims of the deadly Las Vegas shooting, all were performers at the Route 91 Harvest Festival last year, were the tragedy took place. The 60th GRAMMY Awards will take place at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018. The telecast will be broadcast live on CBS at a new time: 7:30–11 p.m. ET.
